Praising God does not have to be long or complicated. We do not have to be particularly eloquent. One word will do, if that word leads us to think of Him, and His nature.
Often, the Old Testament believers honored God by giving him names—one or two words which expressed a portion of His divine nature. Some of those names were

Elohim—Strong One
El Shaddai--God Almighty
El Elyon—God Most High
El Olam—God Eternal
El Rophe—The Lord is your healer
El Roi—Lord of Seeing
Yahweh Yirah—God will provide
Yahweh Nissi--God is my banner
Yahweh Shalom—God is my peace
Yahweh Sabaoth—God of hosts
Attiq Yomin (Aramaic)--Ancient of Days
El Zur--God our Rock
El-berith--God of the Covenant
Yeshua—Savior (Jesus is the Greek form)
He is also identified by adjectives, defining who he is, including
Mighty One, Holy One, Judge, Deliverer, Redeemer, Shield, Strength, Righteous One, our Rock. "our King,” our Father, the First and the Last
Praising God does not have to be elaborate. Just name Him, who He is, and Who He is to us.
Take five minutes and in one or two words, name as many attributes of God as you can.
